AI Answer Watch helps companies monitor how they appear in AI-generated answers. This policy explains what data is collected and how it is used to provide the service.
Information we collect
We collect account details, company website URLs, crawl output from public pages, generated company profiles, recommended prompts, competitor suggestions, AI answers, citations, mentions, usage events, and billing status needed to operate AI Answer Watch.
How we use information
We use this information to analyze your company website, recommend monitoring prompts, run visibility checks, calculate directional visibility metrics, improve reliability, prevent abuse, provide support, and process billing through Stripe.
Website crawling
We crawl public company pages needed for onboarding and monitoring. We do not intentionally crawl private pages, login-protected pages, or content you are not authorized to analyze. Crawling is shallow and focused on company profile extraction.
AI providers
We may send relevant prompts, crawled page summaries, company profile fields, competitor names, and monitoring context to AI providers used to generate recommendations and visibility checks. Do not submit confidential information you do not want processed by third-party providers.
Billing
Payments and card details are processed by Stripe. AI Answer Watch does not store full credit card numbers. We store billing status, selected plan, and identifiers needed to manage access and refunds.
Deletion
You may request project deletion or account deletion. Project deletion removes associated profiles, prompts, runs, mentions, citations, alerts, and crawl records from active systems, subject to backups and legal retention requirements.
